Larishka Larz Ungoth - SD Fan

Larishka, or Larz, for short, is the single female football starter on the Wormwood High football team. She is a primary defender of Theo as the runner because she can keep up with him and is a heavy hitter.

Larz is a half-orc, the orc side coming from her father. Her mother strove to keep the family together despite his violent nature and complete lack of responsibility, but when Larishka hit puberty, the violence was no longer specific to her mother. The first sign came from her first piercing, a ring through the top of her lupin ear. When she came home, her father flew into a fit and ripped the tip of her ear from her; frightened, Larishka rushed away. From then on, it was hide or fight.

At 16, Larishka had finally gotten big enough--after lots of beatings and plenty of fights with other kids around school and town, she stood up to her father. When he lost, he was far too ashamed and angry to stick around, and there was a period of accustoming and apologizing for each other that she went through with her mother. Unable to operate well in the black hole they were stuck in, Larz's mother picked up and moved, transferring a Sophomore Larishka to Wormwood High.

Larishka studied hard--suddenly, college was her ticket to support her mom properly. No more shoddy apartments, no more hand-me-down clothes. Though Larishka was able to get into the prep classes, her grades are never above B's. Distraught, she joined the football team Junior year. A natural at it, she was put on the varsity team, but even the football scholarship seems out of her reach. Being a girl, along with the fact that Theo and Devin outshine her by far, and there are many others who outshine her just enough to matter.

She's antisocial and awkward, and loyal to a fault. The only time she seems to use her strength is on the field and defending smaller people being picked on--suffice to say, she doesn't spend a lot of time with her fellow players on the field.

Theo tends to pick on her a lot because she's a girl, and although she dislikes it, she's too loyal to the pack to say anything to the big wolves. Devin is no more kind to her than he is mean, and she's generally just on the verge of fitting in.

She likes stargazing and animals, and is shy mostly. She's teased for her thick-bred legs and wide hips, along with her small tusks on her lower row of teeth, giving her a slight underbite that she generally purses her lips around. The green paint she's wearing is usually only for football games >.>
